General Installation Notes:

Please read instructions completely before beginning installation. If you

have any questions please call.

Before starting installation, scotch vehicle tires to avoid accidental

movement of the vehicle. Disconnect negative battery cable before

beginning installation.

Make sure the engine, transmission, and frame are properly grounded.

We recommend applying anti-seize lubricant to all aluminum threads

before final assembly.

This bracket is designed to be used with a Lokar Throttle Cable, Kickdown Cable,

and/or Cruise Control Cable.

Refer to Fig. 1, Fig. 2, and Fig. 3 for the component names.

Step 1: Disconnect any existing throttle cable, kickdown cable, and/or cruise

control cable from the throttle body. If there is an existing throttle

cable bracket installed, remove it from the intake manifold plenum.

Step 2: DO NOT loosen the flat head bolt in the back of the Lokar bracket

or remove the cable stud from the mounting base. The cable stud is

precisely indexed to the mounting base, and it may be difficult to get it

reassembled in the correct position.

Install the Tuned-Port bracket onto the intake manifold plenum in the

original location, using the provided M6 x 16mm socket head bolts.

Step 3: Refer to the installation instructions for the Lokar Throttle Cable,

Kickdown Cable, and/or Cruise Control Cable. Remove the adjuster

nuts from the cable adjuster(s) that came with the cable kit(s). Fig. 4

Replace those nuts with the smaller outside diameter TPI nut(s) that

came with this kit. Each cable adjuster gets only one nut. The flat

side of the nut should be facing towards the Tuned-Port bracket when

it is installed. Fig. 5

Step 4: Thread the cable adjuster(s) for the throttle cable, kickdown cable,

and/or the cruise control cable into the Tuned-Port bracket. Adjust

the cable(s) as described in the installation instructions for the

individual cable kits. Fig. 6

(not included) and Kickdown Cable kit (not included).
