Before starting installation, scotch vehicle tires to avoid accidental movement
of the vehicle. Disconnect negative battery cable before beginning installation.
Make sure the engine, transmission, body and frame are properly grounded.
We recommend applying anti-seize lubricant to all aluminum threads before
final assembly.

Billet Aluminum Dial-In Board Safety LED Taillight
Installation Instructions
Refer to Fig. 1 for the component names.
Step 1: The Lokar Safety LED Taillight is designed to mount directly to the
Lokar Dial-In Board, but it can be mounted in a different location if you
prefer. Choose the location where the taillight is going to be mounted.
Step 2: The two mounting holes in the taillight housing are drilled 1/2" apart. If
mounting this taillight to a Lokar Dial-In Board and the adjustable arm
is not already drilled and tapped, drill with a #25 drill bit and tap these
two holes with a #10-24 tap. The first hole should be 1-1/4" from the
end of the dial-in board arm. The second hole should be 1-3/4" from
the end of the dial-in board arm. Fig. 2
If you are not mounting the taillight to a Lokar Dial-In Board, drill
and tap two #10-24 holes 1/2" apart in the mounting location of your
choice.
Step 3: When mounting the taillight assembly, run the two wires in the
machined grooves on the mounting surface of the taillight housing. This
will prevent the wires from being pinched when tightening the fasteners.
Fig. 3 Install the taillight onto the Lokar Dial-In Board or your desired
location using the two supplied #10-24 x 3/8" socket head cap screws.
If you are installing the Safety LED Taillight onto a Lokar Dial-In Board,
remove the socket cap screw from the dial-in board upright that is
closest to the dial-in board mount bracket. Replace it with the
1/4"-20 x 1/2" low-head socket cap screw that is provided with the
Safety LED Taillight. Fig. 4 The low head allows the taillight wires to fit
into the groove that is in the bottom of the dial-in board arm. Fig. 5
Step 4: Wiring the Safety LED Taillight requires only two connections. The solid
black wire needs to be connected to a chassis ground and the green/
black wire to a switched 12V source.
